Are the rash guard and shorts sold as a set?
No. Our rash guards and shorts are sold separately because everyone is built differently.
For example, our founder typically wears a Large rash guard but Medium shorts. A pre-selected set would force some customers to compromise on the fit of either the top or bottom.
By selling each piece separately, you can choose the size that fits your body best while still building a matching Mat Frog set.

What are Mat Frog rash guards made from?
Our rash guards are made from performance stretch fabric designed for Jiu-Jitsu, grappling, and other combat sports.
They're built to move with you while providing the flexibility, compression, and durability needed for hard training.

Can I use Mat Frog gear for sports other than Jiu-Jitsu?
Absolutely.
While Mat Frog gear is designed with Jiu-Jitsu and grappling in mind, it can also be used for wrestling, MMA, kickboxing training, fitness, and other activities where lightweight performance apparel works well.
How do I wash my Mat Frog gear?
For maximum longevity, our manufacturer recommends hand washing cold, no bleach, and no ironing. Air drying is also recommended to help preserve the fabric, stitching, and graphics.
That said, we put our gear through real-world testing. We've personally trained in and machine washed and dried our gear countless times without noticeable fading or excessive wear.
For the longest possible life of your Mat Frog gear, however, we recommend following the manufacturer's care instructions.
